Add "Copy To" and "Move To" features for all Tasks
Add "Copy To" and "Move To" features for all Tasks. This will let users duplicate, reuse, or recylce lists easily. Additonally, sometimes you want to move a Task (and it's subtasks) from one List to another.

Quick Note Entry
Please add ability to quickly add a note to a task line. Through gesture, keyboard shortcut or dedicated icon. Having to press four times makes it a tedious process.

Add spreadsheet style ability to count numbers inside square brackets within a node or sub node.
This idea would be handy for budgeting minded shoppers. Eg. Fruit salad [$4]
Like a spreadsheet it will count in a column or child node. This could be a toggle on/off for each new child node if you want it active. [$X] an open and closed bracket is needed along with dollar sign for each line in child node to be counted if feature activated.People could use this for calculating travel plans for example. Dropping in and out of the child node list items to fine tine costs. Would save alot of time having to manually calculate.

Allow users to enter either an x or a checkmark on lists so items that may not apply one time, can still be available for future uses of the
I use this for packing lists but often there are items that aren't applicable for this trip, that I want to keep on the list for future trips

Synchronize tags associated with outlines across devices.
When I create an outline on one device and associate a tag with it I can categorize the outline into groups. These tags, however, are not carried forward during synchronization through dropbox. I suggest adding the ability to synchronize tags through the automatic synchronization feature within Outliner.

Add Airdrop file transfer
Introduce airdrop as a method for sending a file. I want to transfer outlines to somebody without sending it over the web via email because I may not have connectivity

have setting to choose default for new outlines, task on/off
Currently, new outlines default to having the task tick box. Mostly I use outlines for planning and don't want that but when importing an existing outline from my Mac it defaults to on and has to be changed, line by line, manually.

Please don't ruin it with a bazillion features.
A lot of posts here are asking for add'l features ("like programX has"). Please don't ruin this simple, efficient app with the same pile of features every other outline/task program has. If I wanted all the crap in programX, I would be using programX. I use CarbonFin Outline because it's simple and flexible. I'm not here to do GTD.
Don't get me wrong, there are features that could improve functionality. Just please be judicious and make sure we can turn off features we don't want.

Archiving, tagging and synced order to online version to mirror iPad/iPhone
Others have asked for the tagging (to hide genres you aren't working on right now) too for the online version, not a new request I see. My addition to this is the arching as I want to keep completed projects but not see them online. The online version lets you reorder the outlines from the default order of creation but I don't see why I have to do it again if I've done it already on the iPad. I basically want the interface to mirror the way it works on the iPad.

Give multi directional capability to iPad
I can't move on item up or down once I tap the multidirectional 'button'. It works in iPhone but not on iPad.

Allow a Multistage Checkbox
I am a physician and love to do my own quality assurance. Would love an item selection box that has two stages to it. Push it once to note it is something I need to do (like patient needs DVT prophylaxis) and then push it again to note (I ordered DVT prophylaxis); each button stages would be different symbol or color so I know the difference.. This would make Carbonfin perfect for me with this change.

I love the app and I would pay for a new version with just a few of the suggested ideas. If you make OutlinerPlus with a couple of the key requests, and if it could import existing outlines, I'd be HAPPY to pay you again!! (I just want attachable pics and a note field that's full width.) Thanks for an already great app!!!!!

Add "tag" functionality to the online version and make sure that syncs with my iPhone.

auto save in browser version
If you are not planning to build a native mac version, please implement an auto-save option for the browser version. Withouth the auto-save option it is useless to me. I forget to save, which causes my iphone app and the browser version to be out of sync

Shake to undo a check marked item
Have you ever checked an item and then noticed you "fat fingered" it and checked the wrong item. It would be cool to shake the phone to undo the last checked item.

A quick way or button to toggle "hide completed items"
There is a way to hide completed on the settings menu, I would like a faster way to toggle this, perhaps a icon on the "Outline" pop-out button bar. When I use Outline as a shopping list I toggle between show completed and hide depending on whether I am building a list or in the store.

Write a companion app for Apple Watch
This would fill a huge void in the Apple Watch app store. There are no OPML-savvy apps, and in fact no decent list processors at all: Evernote, Things, Omnifocus, Todoloo, Clear… don't qualify.
