  1. Archiving, tagging and synced order to online version to mirror iPad/iPhone

    Others have asked for the tagging (to hide genres you aren't working on right now) too for the online version, not a new request I see. My addition to this is the arching as I want to keep completed projects but not see them online. The online version lets you reorder the outlines from the default order of creation but I don't see why I have to do it again if I've done it already on the iPad. I basically want the interface to mirror the way it works on the iPad.

  2. Add tag management to online outline

    Tags are a major part of the iOS app. Adding them to the online outline page would be beneficial.

  3. Make a “dark theme” on paid iPhone App

    Hi, thanks for created carbonfin outline app, I used on my iPhone everyday.

    Because I use too much, the app white background become too bright to my eye, my eye feel hurt often.

    Cloud you add “Dark Theme” to iPhone paid app?

  4. add attachment

    Hello,
    I hope you could allow adding an attachment.
    Could be photo or PDF, etc.
    As some outlines just require an image to better describe the item.

  6. I love your product! I hope that at some point you will add a due date and create Views to manage timelines.

  7. Add "Copy and Paste" in the web version

    Useful for reusing an item structure many time. As far as I can see, it's currently available only in the iOS version.

  8. Make the indents/outdents just a little bit more

    When I look down an outline there doesn’t seem to be enough separation between levels. It just looks like one long list.

  10. ...hire a young web designer with style.

    I don't mean this to sound condescending or snide! Yes, I'm talking about surfaces – 'look' is superficial. But my gut reaction to your esthetics is negative – and I don't think that's good for your fine product. Your web graphics remind me of early 20th office software. It turns off young people. Have a look at some youthful iOS apps, or Squarespace sites.

  12. Allow hiding of incomplete items

    I use master lists (eg for food shopping). I check the items I need then uncheck them when bought. A filter to show only checked items will reduce as I buy items but my master food list is retained.

    I now have many outlines. It would be good to put them in folders so that I do not have to manage a long list :).

  14. iOS : need ability to search any word in any outline from home and to go there directly

    actually I can find if a word is in an outline from the main list by searching but if I want to edit it I need to open that outline and to search agin right in it
    I would need to get this in one step if possible

  15. Add the expansion/collapsed state of every node to the save.

    At present when an outline is saved from Outliner Online, once reloaded frequently all nodes are in an expanded state. While they can be collapsed manually and that state seems to stick, using "collapse all" doesn't seem to stick at all.

  18. Automatic backup within the app.

    Data loss is one of my biggest fears. I would love to see the app have an automatic backup capability to include having the choice of how many backups to maintain. (for example 1-5 backups). I would be willing to pay an in-app purchase for this capability on the iPad. Thanks

  19. Display a count of the number of child items for a given item

    On some of my outlines, I like to know how many children are below a given item. For example, a list of blog post ideas could be grouped under "Future", "Draft", and "Published" items. It would be nice to have the option to show how many children (but not grandchildren or great-grandchildren, etc..) are in each category.
