    I agree. Font selection and coloring entries can be very useful. Although an outline can help with organizing items rather than using coloring, there are times when coloring can be used to help keep track of important items that cross node (or level) boundaries. I'm using Outliner to keep important notes organized by journal article for my disseration. Coloring different items can help me not lose track of items by adding an additional dimension to the tree structure of an outline.
